Antoinette Faÿ-Hallé

Honorary General Curator of Heritage. After studying at the Ecole du Louvre and the Sorbonne, Antoinette Faÿ-Hallé worked at the Musée national de Céramique in Sèvres in 1970, where she was director from 1982 to 2009.

She plays a leading role in promoting modern and contemporary ceramics,
and contributes a great deal to national French collections within this field.

Luis Laplace - Architect

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Luis Laplace holds a degree in architecture and urban planning from the University of Belgrano. After working in New York with Annabelle Selldorf, he and Christophe Comoy founded the Paris-based Laplace architecture firm in 2004. Together, they develop a sensitive approach to materials and workmanship, highlighting the history of places and objects. Fascinated by the decorative arts, Luis and Christophe have also been collectors of ceramics for many years.

Alain Lardet

Educated as an art historian, Alain Lardet has based his career on researching links among the cultural, social and economic dimensions of design and skills.

He is Honorary Chairman of the Bourse Agora for the Design and Designer’s Days, associations he co-founded and chaired, and recently has worked with institutions and companies as a Strategic Development Consultant, Artistic Management Delegate,
and the creation and organization of cultural events. He also curates exhibitions.

Louis Lefebvre

Galerie Lefebvre & Fils

In the 1980s, Louis Lefebvre joined forces with his father to appraise antique ceramics. In 2009, Louis Lefebvre decided to steer the family gallery, founded in 1880, in a new direction. Since then, the gallery has explored contemporary ceramics. They have accompanied artists such as Roger Herman, Shushank Shrestha and Joel Gaitan as they question this medium with the leitmotiv displaying real permanence and constant renewal of ceramics in contemporary art. Then in 2015, he opened “The Residency” dedicated to the art of fire in Versailles.

Camille Leprince

Camille Leprince Gallery

Expert and antique dealer specializing in early European ceramics, Camille Leprince is a graduate of the École du Louvre and the Faculté des Lettres de la Sorbonne. He is also co-director of the Master EMA (Expertise et Marché de l’Art) at Paris Sorbonne University and a lecturer in art history at the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi (SUAD). He is also a member of the Board of Frieze Masters in London, where he contributes to the promotion of ancient art and ceramics.

René Jacques Mayer

Renowned for inventive projects, René Jacques Mayer has held management positions at emblematic institutions such as the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres, the D’DAYS design festival, the Camondo School and the Mobilier national (historic French furniture depository).

He is currently General Manager of the Cité de la Céramique Sèvres et Limoges, where he continues his commitment to advancing the admiration for craftsmanship and contemporary creativity.

Béatrice de Rochebouët

Special correspondent since 1990, Béatrice de Rochebouët has been in charge of the art market, contemporary art, design and architecture section at Le Figaro, both for the daily edition (print and web) and for special features.

With a DEA in art history (Paris IV La Sorbonne), she is recognized for her expertise in the fields of culture and the art market. Along with her career, she cultivates a genuine passion for Napoleonic history.

Marella Rossi Mosseri

Galerie Aveline – ART LINK

Head of the Aveline gallery, specializing in 17th-19th century furniture and decorative arts, Marella Rossi Mosseri is also the founder of ART LINK, a company that brings together artists, galleries and collectors.

Catherine Trouvet

Catherine Trouvet holds a PhD in art history from Paris IV La Sorbonne, and is the author of a thesis on Sèvres vases, from their origins to the Empire, under the supervision of Bruno Foucart. A specialist in both antique and contemporary porcelain, she is currently vice-president of the Société Française d’Étude de la Céramique Orientale and a board member of the Friends of the Musée National de Céramique and the Club des Céramophiles.

Catherine Trouvet is also a member of CNES.

Director of Galerie Vauclair, expert and antiquarian in artistic ceramics from the second half of the 19th century.

An antique dealer since the age of 18, Laurence Vauclair is now a recognized expert in ceramic arts and rattan furniture from latter half of the 19th century. century. Descended from a line of renowned tailors, Laurence cherishes above all materials and the technicality of art craftsmanship.
